perhaps the most self aware thing i'll ever say

“the thing is... i really love the strawberry flavor. when i eat it, i recognize that it is incredibly delicious, but because i love strawberry ice cream, i place unfair expectations on the yogurt strawberry chocolate bar. so, though strawberry may objectively taste better than vanilla, i might enjoy the vanilla more because there is less of a disparity between expectations and reality.”
