“another world is possible.” charlie’s sign stuck with me the moment he sent us a picture of it from san francisco. i loved how light it is, a reminder of the potential for so much more. and it can be so much more, if we keep going.

some of the sweeter parts from the last few days: homemade medical kits around every corner, thousands quietly kneeling together on pavement, sidewalks, steps, & trees, free water and snack stations for all who need it, perfect strangers sharing stories and educating, the sun setting beautifully across the courtyard and the sky transforming into a los angeles signature glow of yellows and purples — an odd contrast to the hall of justice.
